Ebenfalls zu sehen im Botanischen Garten zu Kiel. Die Lotosblumen (Nelumbo), auch Lotos genannt, sind die einzige Gattung der Pflanzenfamilie der Lotosgewächse (Nelumbonaceae). Von den nur zwei Arten ist die eine in der Neuen Welt und die andere in Asien sowie im nördlichen Australien beheimatet. Beide Arten und ihre Hybriden werden als Zierpflanzen genutzt und liefern Nahrungsmittel.

Also on display at the Botanical Garden in Kiel (Northern Germany). The lotus flower (Nelumbo), also called lotus, are the only genus of the plant family of the lotus plants (Nelumbonaceae). Of the two types, the one in the New World and the other is based in Asia and northern Australia. Both species and their hybrids are used as ornamental plants and provide food.

Es hat die Rose sich beklagt,

dass gar zu schnell der Duft vergehe,

den ihr der Lenz gegeben habe.

Da hab ich ihr zum Trost gesagt,

dass er durch meine Lieder wehe,

und dort ein ewiges Leben habe.

Orchids are considered particularly beautiful and many considered the orchid as queen of flowers.

Orchideen werden als besonders schön angesehen und vielen gilt die Orchidee als Königin der Blumen.

 


Waren's Blumen mit den wunderbaren
Silberhellen kleinen Flügelpaaren?
Oder waren's fragt ich Blumenengel,
Hin geheftet an die Blütenstengel?

Waren's Blumen die beim Mondenschimmer
Mir mit Duft erfüllt mein kleines Zimmer?
Oder hatten durch die Nacht geklungen
Traumhaft süße Überlieferungen?

So macht das keinen Spaß! Wie soll man denn in Weihnachtsstimmung kommen, wenn nicht ein bißchen Schnee fällt.
Für mich gehört er einfach dazu. Aber hier draußen zergraut alles in ein Einheitsgrau. So nicht!!!
Und wenn wir schon keinen Schnee haben, dann will ich auc hnichts Winterliches zeigen  ;-)
Dann lasse ich jetzt mal die Puppen...ähm...Blumen tanzen

So it makes no fun! How to get into the Christmas mood you then, if not a little snow falls.
For me it is simply a must. But here everything is a uniform gray outside. Not like that!!!
And if we have no snow, then I will show nothing Wintry  ;-)
Then I leave now times the dolls dancing ... ähm ... flowers dancing!
